My name is Andy Bishop and I am the high school English Teacher here at Marquette Catholic. Originally, I herald from the great state of Illinois, in a small suburb of Chicago called Niles. Growing up, I went to Notre Dame High School for boys before graduating and beginning my Iowa adventure at Clarke College/University in Dubuque. While there, I majored in English, Mathematics and Secondary Education while also playing Men's Volleyball for 2 years. Also while at Clarke, I met my wife Angie Bishop. In the spring of 2011, I graduated with a bachelors in Math, English and Secondary Education. The summer following graduation, Angie and I were married in Clarke's chapel. We presently live here in Bellevue and remain busy coaching Volleyball and Soccer at Marquette. In October of 2014, I was blessed to welcome my little girl Emily into the world, and she has certainly been one of the many joys in my life. September of 2016 also brought Katelyn Bishop into our little family.
I am always happy to answer any questions that you may have about the school, and look forward to working with the great students enrolled here.
